Aiden yelled at her to move, and as she turned in alarm, she saw the man again--the one from the pictures. His speed was unbelievable, she did not even see him move. One minute, she was clutching a knife in her hand, and the next, the blade was flying across the room and she was hit by a strong force. Hearing it land with a clink on some far side of the room, her body slammed against the wall where the pictures were hung. The force of the impact caused some of the glass on the frames to break and scatter across the floor.
Her body ached tremendously. The man not only had incredible speed, but he was inhumanly strong as well. She lay on the floor, limp and unable to move. The tips of some of her fingers on her right hand were cut by some of the glass on the floor, and she felt bruised all over her back and on the side of her head. Why had the man attacked her so violently? Yuki supposed that if someone had been breaking into her house, perhaps she would've responded the same way. Even so, the man seemed to be blinded by an intense rage--at this rate, Aiden and her would be killed a matter of seconds.
Only a few seconds had transpired since he had flung her across the room. Glancing up, she saw him coming towards her with his bloodshot eyes and ghastly countenance. When she tried to get up to retreat from him, her legs wouldn't move. What was wrong with her? She reached for the gun, hoping to wound him in the leg and immobilize him, but when she felt her pocket for the weapon, it wasn't there. Her eyes widened at the revelation--it must've fallen out.
Looking up, the man was now only a few inches away. All she could do was brace herself for what would come next.

His mind was stuck on one conclusion: Poltergeist. It had freaked out the moment they set foot in the house, spirits were usually vengeful on either one person, or a type of person, though that wasn't to say that there wasn't exceptions. Nevertheless, a poltergeist would be difficult to tackle, only because once it knew there were hex bags in the house, it would go to all lengths to stop them, and keep itself rooted to the house. Anything in the house would become a weapon, but removing things wasn't an option either, that would only initiate further attacks. They had to tread carefully, and so far, they weren't doing that very well. Aiden struggled in the carpet as Yuki cut him free, before she was knocked out of the way. The poor girl had just met him, and already he was saving her life from something supernatural, not to mention there was no sign of her mother. This was turning out to be more of a hassle than he wished, and the only thing he could really do was blame this Casey guy.
From a few feet away he heard the slamming of a body against a wall, and the shattering of glass, followed by a clattering of something. The fabric entrapping Aiden split open, and he rolled out, up, and took a kneeling position as he aimed at the poltergeist. Yuki was far enough out of the way, so Aiden let off three loud shots. The poltergeist disappeared in a puff of dust, only temporarily. Struggling up, he stumbled over to Yuki. "Let's go, get out of the house. That thing will be back," he said. "And we need to get some things from the car." He walked across the path they used to enter, seeing no sign of Jeff. He pulled out a first aid kit from the trunk, pushing it over in the general direction of Yuki before digging through a bag, trying to find his pre-made hex bags. It took him a few moments of silence and ruffling before he finally pulled out four, placing them on top of the car.
"Okay, from what I can tell based off of that first attack, this thing is most likely a poltergeist, a spirit bound to a house, and one that tries to kill anyone in it. The hex bags will banish it, we have to place one each corner of the house. Once it figures out what we're doing though, it'll come after us. We have to be fast. Use this," he said, pulling out a pipe (iron, the only reason he had it), "to break a hole in the wall. Ready?"

Ready? Was she ready?
She knew time was short, but she couldn't help but feel extremely delusional and clinically insane. She had just been thrown against the wall by an unimaginable force, and had then seen a man vanish before her eyes into thin air. The next thing she knew, she was outside, talking with Aiden, and he was handing her hex bags? And they were supposed to place them on each corner of the house by making a hole in the wall with an iron pipe, but in doing so, that thing was going to come back and attack them? Attack them with what, magic carpets?
And he wanted to know if she was ready?!
The whole situation, she felt, was developing her into a mental asylum case. She hadn't ever believed in the existence of spirits, but this? This was real. She had seen him physically vanish. And yet, she wanted to reject what she had seen. Yuki felt compeltely bewiledered. She was most definitely not ready to accept any of this.
But there wasn't time to correctly respond to Aiden's question. She simply nodded, took the hex bags, and went back inside the house. After the experience which had severely bruised her, she was not exactly eager to return, but she didn't really have a choice in the matter.

Jefferson returned to notice Yuki with the hex bags. A poltergeist was in the house. This was bad news for all of them. He needed to helpl, but it seemed they were doing fine without them. He cursed himself for leaving to investigate the rest of the house. It didn't matter now, he was back and ready to help them out.
"Why did it have to be a poltergeist? This is going to be harder then I thought. Yuki, it's your time to shine. I haven't been in this fight since the beginning, but I'll help from now on. Just tell me what to do."

Aiden hated poltergeists, he really did, just as one might despise ants, just due to their troublesome nature. Each poltergeist he had faced over the years were pretty smart, and could figure out what the bags in his hands would do within a couple of minutes. One time, he only barely made it past the door jamb before he was knocked out. But with two people on their side, things might be easier, and Yuki seemed decently skilled, so there should be little problems. He looked at the pipe in his hand, and then remembered the other key element to it. "Oh, and remember, this is made of iron; if that thing gets close to you again, a swipe at him from this, and he should temporarily disappear," he said, should because he only assumed that it was a poltergeist. There were still other possibilities.
As he prepared to head back into the house, Jeff came into sight, and up to Yuki. That made things easier, with three things could go much smoother. "Alright...alright...uh, okay, Yuki, you're going to take the front two corners of the house, put the hex bags there. I'll go to the back two, and Jeff, you keep that thing entertained so we can get this done. Once they're all in, it should be banished and all will be well again," he said, making sure his gun was still with him, ensuring that Yuki had the bags and the pipe, and that Jeff was ready. Without waiting for either of them, he took off into the house, feeling the presence of the spirit watching him. He made a bee line down the hall, trying to find the correct wall in which to place the bag. He came into a vacant bedroom, and finding a good place for the hex bag, began kicking the wall with his heel, feeling the dry wall give in beneath the repeated blows.
Then, suddenly, his breath materialized in a whisp of steam in front of him, and he turned to stare into the eyes of the poltergeist before feeling pain strike across his head, and his body slumping to the ground.

Jefferson stared at Aiden, frowning at his request. Keeping a poltergeist busy was as easy as, well, finding the Winchester brothers. Jefferson had experience, but not in entertaining a supernatural being. He missed the good old days in which all he had to do was sit back, and wait for his brother's to do the rest. These days were over, and now Aiden and Yuki needed him. Getting out his gun, Jefferson waited to see what their next move was going to be. He didn't have to wait long, for Aiden rushed straight into the house.
"Damn it. The kid is always rushing into the battle. Let's hurry Yuki, we don't have much time. You know what to do." Jefferson also ran into the house, and in time to see Aiden enter a room. Having faith in Aiden, Jefferson began to look around for the poltergeist. Not knowing what to do, Jefferson grabbed his gun, and began to pound it slightly on the wall. This almost caused Jefferson to not hear the slight sound that came from the room Aiden was in. "Yuki, finish what you have to do!" Jefferson yelled at Yuki, while rushing over to Aiden. Looking inside the room, Jefferson came face to face with the poltergeist, and what seemed to be Aiden's unconscious body.
The poltergeist had noticed him. Luckily Jefferson had already noticed the cracks on the wall. With his gun at the ready, he shot at the cracks, forming a hole. This caused the poltergeist to come and attack him. Jefferson threw the gun at the poltergeist, which did absolutley nothing except go right through him. "Aiden, wake up! Come on, get up!" Jefferson screamed at Aiden, hoping to at least get a groan out of the man. Dodging the poltergeist, Jefferson found himself next to Aiden. He grabbed the hex bag from Aiden and shoved it into the hole in the wall. This was the good news. The bad news was that now the poltergeist was blocking the door. Jefferson began to shake Aiden, hoping to wake him up. His thoughts went to Yuki, and he hoped that she was having better luck then them.

"Yuki, finish what you have to do!"
Jefferson had blurted that seconds before scampering off to what she assumed was help Aiden. With that statement, Yuki had darted for the left front corner of the house. Aiden had told her two place the bags inside the walls, and although they were all in a state of what she assumed was utmost peril, she couldn't help but ponder an array of questions that seemed oddly cynical, considering the gravity of the moment.
First off, why , exactly, was she pounding at a wall with an iron pipe?
No, Yuki knew why. She just didn't understand why, under the current circumstances, it had to be her. All she wanted to do was find her mother, know she was safe, and return to Okinawa to continue her studies and work. That was all. Was that such a difficult request to complete? And yet, somehow, midst attempting to find her dear mother, she had ended up in the custody of this Jefferson and Aiden, "hunters of the supernatural," travelling to some haunted house. And in addition, to make matters even better, her mother was no where to be found.
Which led to her second question: Why was she still here?
If her mother was not in the house, then there was obviously no point in remaining within the premises. Aiden had warned her that her mother may not be at their destination, but now that they had arrived and seen that she was in fact not there, what was the point in staying? To fight off a spiritual being? Aiden and Jefferson could do whatever they wanted, but...why did she have to be here as well?
And how in the world did hex bags have any effect on it anyway?!
"Mendokusai!" she thought to herself. As she hammered into the wall again, she finally managed to crack it open. Putting down the iron pipe, she bent down and picked up the small bag, placing it in the hole she had created. Of one thing she was certain--the supernatural was real. Or at least, poltergeists were. Speaking of which, where was the wretched thing? Jefferson and Aiden had not called out to her. Yuki sensed something wasn't right. Obviously, their plans hadn't gone as smoothly as they had hoped, or else they would have returned by now. She still needed to make her way over to the other corner of the house, but she was concerned for the safety of her...what were they...allies? Yuki sighed, and reluctantly made ran over to the door where Jefferson had gone, clutching the remaining hex bag. They had better thank her for this.
When she came up to the door, however, it wouldn't budge--it was as if it was locked. "Jefferson!" she called, hoping he could hear her. "Jefferson, Aiden! Are you both in there?"

His mind on overdrive, Jefferson tried to think of a way out of their situation. Looking around the room to look for iron, but not finding any, truly brought Jefferson's spirits down. Why couldn't it have been a regular ghost? They were much easier to defeat then the poltergeist, unless they had to find the strand of hair or the item the ghost were attached to. The only other plan Jefferson could think of was to ditch Aiden, dodge the poltergeist, and bring Yuki to help. The good news was that Yuki's voice called them from behind the door, the bad news was that because of the poltergeist it wouldn't budge.
"Yuki, I can here you! Aiden is unconscious, and the poltergeist is blocking the door. It won't allow us to escape, but I think we can escape if I shoot off the door handle. Move away from the door." Jefferson ordered Yuki. He only had three bullets left, and all were wasted on the side of the door, next to the handle. Holes appeared, but the door was still closed. This time the poltergeist moved, throwing the objects of the room towards Jefferson. Covering his head with his arms, Jefferson yelled, "Break the door with the iron pipe, then get in here swinging! We can't stop this thing forever!"

Yuki paused at Jefferon's directions. He wished for her to break open the door and then attack the apparition? How did she get caught up in this mess? "I understand," she yelled, and then added under her breath, "just give me a moment." Within seconds, she was swinging at full force with the iron pipe. This was not something she imagined herself doing. Ever. With a crack, the wood from the door split as she created a break in it big enough for her to bash through. With one final hit, it ruptured and she was able to get inside.
The minute she rushed through the door, she found herself staring at the bloodshot eyes of the poltergeist only a few feet away. Jefferson was next to an unconscious Aiden in the corner of the room. She looked up somewhat hesitantly at the being as it advanced towards her with a sly smile, but then she changed her countenance to one that was more determined and tightened her grip on the iron pipe. I would've been long gone by now if this stupid thing wasn't here! With a forceful charge, she swung at it. She didn't feel the impact when she hit it, but she saw it vanish with a puff of smoke. Yuki paused, waiting for the being to come back, but it did not reappear. "How long will the poltergeist be gone?" she asked Jeferson, panting a bit from the sudden adrenaline rush. "I have not set the final hex bag in place yet."

Jefferson sat waiting for the Yuki to come barging in. His hands were bruising, but at least his head was fine. Having two unconsious hunters would not do well for Yuki. He felt the warm blood slowly oozing down his arms. The objects had finally done some serious damage to Jefferson. Not knowing how long he was going to last, Jefferson began to lose hope. Then the objects had stopped. No new pains were being felt. Thinking it safe, Jefferson looked up and stared at Yuki swinging furiously. The poltergeist was now gone.
"Not long enough. We need to hurry with the last to hex bags. I'll leave it up to you. I need to try and wake up Aiden." Jefferson answered Yuki. Giving her Aiden's hex bag, a thought began to cross his mind. What made him tell Yuki to go by herself and finish the job. She would have been safer here, but that wouldn't help. Now that she was here, and knew all about the supernatural, she could never go back to her previous life. Jefferson hated thinking this, but it was a harsh truth. Now that the last two hex bags were in Yuki's custody, Jefferson headed back to Aiden, hoping to wake him up.

Yuki nodded to Jefferson's orders and took the bag from him, darting out of the room to place the last two hex bags in place. Nearest to her was the corner of the house where she was supposed to place her hex bag. It was a clear run to that corner, no poltergeist in sight. Iron pipe in hand, she began the task of hammering the wall once again. Picture frames fell as the pipe collided with the surface. After forming a decent hole in the wall, she grabbed the hex bag and set it down. Now, for the last one.
Opening several doors and travelling through several rooms, she finally made her way to the final corner, located inside a bedroom. It was musty and dark, and she was afraid the floor would give way under her, but there was no time to be concerned about that at the moment. Arriving at the corner, she was about to start hitting the wall, when suddenly, the door she had left open shut behind her. She turned around and saw the poltergeist, the man with the crimson-red eyes. Pausing her swing, she clenched the iron pipe, ready to strike if it came near her. She wasn't concerned about getting hurt by it. What she was wondering was how she was going to bash the wall if she was fighting off the being simultaneously? There was no way she could manage that.
"Jefferson!" she called out, hoping he could hear her from across the house. "The poltergeist is back!"

Jefferson had tried everything to wake up Aiden. He came close to hitting him across the face with the gun, but thought better of it. He rushed into the kitchen to fetch a cup of ice cold water. There was no way he was going to carry Aiden back to his truck, especially since he could wake up at the wrong moment and terribly hurt Jefferson. With the water in a cup, Jefferson headed back into the room. About to pour the water over Aiden's head, although it may not work, Jefferson heard the sound of Yuki's voice. The poltergeist had returned, and was heading after Yuki. Rushing to the room Yuki was in, while spilling water, Jefferson once again came face to face with the poltergeist.
"I don't have any weapons against the thing, but I can try and keep him busy. I don't think he'll like me breaking the valuables inside his precious house." To test this theory, Jefferson threw the glass, breaking it into little pieces. This did cause a slight reaction of the potergeist, but just enough to for Jefferson to reach Yuki's side.
"Bang the wall, make the hole, and banish this S.O.B. I'll try and keep the poltergeist busy, anyways that was my job."

Luckily, Yuki knew Jefferson had heard her voice when she heard footsteps growing louder and louder until they were at the door. He caught sight of the poltergeist and distracted it for a couple seconds by shattering some of its belongings. The time in which the poltergeist was caught of guard was enough for Jefferson to make his way over to her. However, shortly after, the poltergeist became even more aggravated than before, and the man's eyes glared feverishly at Jefferson.
Jefferson told her he would serve as a distraction while she put the final hex bag in place. Yuki gave a curt nod and tightened her grip on the iron pipe, ready to dismantle a wall once again. There was no time to help him fight off the being. Once this final hex bag was in place, she hoped it would die...or disappear...or whatever it was these creatures did. With full force, she hammered at the wall. Cement and dust came flying at her, but she relentlessly kept smashing. She wasn't sure if this was going to work, but she sincerely hoped it would--there were no other available options.

How do you distract a poltergeist? This was the hardest question Jefferson ever had to answer. Looking around the room, Jefferson could see nothing that would help him. Yuki had continued making a hole in the wall. The noise was making it much harder for him to concentrate. The only thing that came into his mind was to stay close to Yuki, and block any attacks. This, of course, was easier said then done.
The poltergeist had moved forward. Jefferson ran up to it, then through it. It disappeared for a while, but rapidly came back. It wasn't the same as iron, but now Jefferson had a plan. He could buy time by running through it. He ran with all his might, charging at it, and then he fell backwards. He had the sensation of running into a wall. He forgot how powerful poltergeist were, and because of that small forgotten detail Jefferson was on the ground. His body aching, Jefferson slowly got up and stood in front of the poltergeist again. Plan A was the only option. Jefferson was going to take each and every blow possible. The poltergeist began to harm Jefferson, then he was thrown across the room. The pain increased much more then usual. Still conscious, he dragged himself over to Yuki. Hopefully, he bought her enough time.

With one final swing, the cement in the wall burst and formed a crevice large enough for her to place the last hex bag in. Not stopping to look at what was happening behind her, she quickly grabben the tiny bag and thrust it in place. She was skeptical of the hex bags, but she sincerely hoped they worked.
Yuki turned around to see the poltergeist dematerializing before her eyes in a dark cloud of smoke. The man cried in agony as it disappeared, and before it had completely vanished, it shot a murderous glare at Yuki and Jefferson. Within seconds, the man was gone. Panting, she kept her grip on the iron pipe. It had actually worked. They had defeated it...right? Still maintaining her guard, she looked wearily to Jefferson. "Is the being gone?"
